2023 in Prayer - 15 - Happy Birthday

 Dearest Mother, Beloved Father,

Today, I begin another personal year in this wonderful gift called life.

As I set out to live for what may yet be another 365 days willed with wonder, joy, and love, I pray to you for your grace.

Grant me, O God, the grace to tread lightly.

Grant me, O God, to be an instrument of your will.

Grant me, O God, the ability to truly, really surrender my 'self' in your service.

May my ego diminish with each passing day.

May I serve your creation better.

May I live gentler, speak kinder, live deeper.

I seek your blessings Lord!
